Dr. Craig Devoe spoke to News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen today. Dr. Devoe is the lead investigator of a clinical trial at Northwell Health studying blood from survivors as a possible treatment for COVID-19.
This is what he says are the prerequisites for survivors to donate blood and possibly be a part of the study:
- You need to be without symptoms for 14 days;
- You have to have had a positive test showing that you had COVID-19.
