Police say the driver of an SUV that was involved in a hit-an-run crash that killed Nickelodeon star Kianna Underwood has been taken into custody and is being processed tonight.

Detectives say it happened Friday night along Pitkin Avenue and Osborn Street.

As of Monday night, the driver had not been formally arrested, and no charges were available.

Police say the sedan dragged Underwood's body for two blocks before both vehicles fled the scene.

Authorities confirm that one of the vehicles involved was recovered by officers on Monday night. It is believed to be the Ford Explorer that first struck Underwood Friday.
