Driver sought in fatal East New York hit-and-run
Authorities say it happened around 1 a.m. near Pitkin Avenue and Chestnut Street where police found a 46-year-old man lying in the street.

Police are searching for the driver who they say struck and killed a pedestrian in East New York and then fled the scene early Sunday morning.
Authorities say it happened around 1 a.m. near Pitkin Avenue and Chestnut Street where police found a 46-year-old man lying in the street.
He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he died.
Police urge anyone with information to give them a call.
