Drivers in New York City could soon get a break with unused muni-meter tickets, thanks to a proposal from the City Council.
Bronx city councilman James Vacca (D-The Bronx) says his plan would allow drivers to use unexpired muni-meter tickets at different parking lots around the city. Currently, drivers can get ticketed if they try using an unexpired ticket in a different parking lot. Vacca says his proposal will benefit drivers.
The legislation is set to be the topic of discussion at the city council meeting on April 23.
