Dry, cool and crisp weather for New York City; rainy and windy weekend ahead

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says Friday will be cool and mostly sunny with seasonable temperatures in the mid-60s.
WEEKEND STORM UPDATE:
Weather to Watch on Saturday into early Sunday for rain and wind. We're not expecting any flash flooding.
Thankfully, this is looking like a lower impact storm -- 0.5 - 1 inch of rainfall and gusts up to 30mph are possible. Light showers and gusty winds continue into Sunday as the storm system pulls away. We may get some sunshine by Sunday afternoon/evening. There is a chance of isolated showers into next week Tuesday.

Tonight: A few passing clouds with a cool feeling in the air. Lows: Low 50s.
Friday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy through the day. Temps where they should be this time of year. Highs low to mid 60s. Lows: low 50s. 
Saturday: Mainly cloudy, scattered showers arrive by midday with batches of moderate to heavy rain later on in the day. Winds will be breezy but turn gusty late in the day.  Highs: mid to upper 50s. Lows: low 50s.
Sunday: Showers fade early in the day with partly cloudy skies to follow and breezy to windy conditions. Highs: mid to upper 50s. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with an isolated/scattered rain chance.  Highs: upper 50s to low 60s. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds with scattered rain chances.  Highs: upper 40s to low 50s.  Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a fading rain chance. Highs: upper 50s to low 60s. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, temps rebounding. Highs: low 60s. Lows: upper 40s to low 50s.
