Storms that rolled through Brooklyn this morning left some residents in Crown Heights picking up the pieces after lightning strikes caused damage.
Lightning is believed to have struck a building on Brooklyn Avenue between Sterling Avenue and Empire Boulevard, causing a number of bricks to fall off and strike a car.
Officials say no one was hurt by the falling bricks and that the sidewalk was blocked off afterward.
