The Brooklyn Children's Museum has a week of “Earth Rocks!” programming in honor of Earth Day – just in time for spring break.
On Monday, kids participated in interactive activities to learn about recycling and sustainability. Throughout the week, they can catch puppet shows, meet creatures from the museum's live animal collection and much more. There is programming every day until the April 27.
"We do an animal care workshop with stuffed animals where kids can…learn about diagnosing issues with the animals. It's a very popular activity," said Dylan House, Director of Public Programs at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and most activities start around 10:30 am.
