Residents in an East New York apartment complex may soon get relief from their leaky pipes mold, and rodents.

Wyndham Plaza, which has over 1,500 units, just got taken over by new ownership.

Camber Group is now in control of the property - and director Joshua Weisstuch says there is a lot of work to be done.

He tells says his group is getting right to work, tending to every "legitimate" violation and complaint that has been filed in the building.

Councilman Chris Banks says he first wants to make sure that this time around, things are taken care of in the right way.

An open line of communication between tenants, the ownership, management and elected officials is how he says that can be accomplished.

Residents say they are hopeful that this change will draw attention to the much-needed improvements around the complex.
