Edward R. Murrow High School’s music tech fest made its returned Friday for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic started two years ago.

The show featured live performances, project compilations, and all the special effects the theater tech crew had to offer.

"It's an awesome showcase where students put on the original songs, they perform, and they share some project work that they've done and they're raising funds, and they're raising funds for world central kitchen, which is an organization that provides meals for people in need,” said teacher Joseph Reilly. “Everyone's really excited back up to get tech fest back up and running and we have a great crowd they came out to support that and see us through it."

The school's music technology program was made possible by funding from Alicia Keys and Levi’s. The program nurtures the creative talents of the students and helps them learn all they need to know to write, record, and edit original sound recordings.
