"Elite Learners" held an anti-gun violence rally on Nostrand Avenue following a triple shooting in Prospect Lefferts Gardens on Monday night.
The theme of the rally was "enough is enough." NYPD officials say two of the three injured were teens.
NYPD data shows that shooting incidents are down by 14% in the 71st Precinct.
Advocates told News 12 they won't stop rallying until shootings are down by 100%.
“We made it our main mission to make sure we talk to young people, work with people, provide supportive services," said Camara Jackson, CEO and founder of Elite Learners. "I have movie night, skate night... everything in the park is free... we’ve been working.”
News 12's Daniella Rodriguez was at the rally and spoke to many community members about why they decided to show up.
