Gov. Andrew Cuomo has given entertainment venues the green light to reopen at 33% capacity.
This includes up to 100 attendees indoors and up to 200 outdoors, but if all attendees can bring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, occupancy can increase to up to 150 indoors and up to 500 outdoors.
Face masks will be required as well as social distancing.
The Brooklyn Academy of Music says it will begin their live performances at different outdoor spaces for now on April 6.
Brooklyn Arts Council Executive Director Charlotte Cohen says that although performances have gone on virtually over the past year, this is a new beginning for the arts community.
