Old prescriptions often wind up in the medicine cabinet where they can get into the hands of people they were not intended for, like kids and teens.Through 2 p.m. today, Bronx residents can safely dispose of those expired or unneeded prescriptions at a nearby location. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is hosting its fourth National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, a nationwide event that aims to get unnecessary drugs out of the home in order to help prevent abuse.Go to dea.gov, click on "Got Drugs?" and enter a zip code to locate one of 5,000 free, anonymous drug collection sites.
