A former NYPD police officer who served 12 years in prison has launched a new cigar company in Brooklyn.
According to published reports, ex-officer Michael Dowd, who served a prison sentence for shaking down cocaine dealers in Brooklyn and reselling their drugs while on the job, has teamed up with former drug boss Adam Diaz for the project.
The cigar company is allegedly named after Dowd's former precinct, "The 75."
The cigar boxes are covered in phrases like "Nobody can touch me" and "The king of Brooklyn."
