F train to shut down for the next 2 weeks amid signal modernization efforts

The Coney Island-bound F train will only be running express between Church Avenue and Kings Highway. The expected skipped stops are Avenue I, Bay Parkway, and Avenues N and P.

The MTA says the F train will shut down earlier between Kings Highway and Coney Island because the Culver line is set to receive a modern signal.
The Coney Island-bound F train will only be running express between Church Avenue and Kings Highway. The expected skipped stops are Avenue I, Bay Parkway, and Avenues N and P. Free shuttle buses will operate between the Church Avenue and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue stations.
The B, D, N and Q trains are still operating.
Service for the F train is expected to return next Saturday.
