Fairfield Prep lacrosse team honors teen killed in weekend stabbing
The Fairfield Prep lacrosse team was back on the field for the first time since the one of their fellow players was fatally stabbed over of the weekend.
It was a somber and emotional evening at Shelton High School Wednesday, as the community still reels over the tragic loss of James McGrath.

Police say McGrath, 17, died after he was stabbed outside a home on Laurel Glen Drive in Shelton just before midnight Saturday.
Fairfield Prep players wore JM7 on their helmets, for McGrath, and the people in the stands wore blue, which was his favorite color.
McGrath's parents spoke before the game saying they were amazed by the community and encouraged everyone to celebrate their son.
A GoFundMe has been set up for the family of McGrath, and has so far raised more than $115,000.
A wake will be held Thursday for McGrath, and his funeral will be on Friday.
