Loved ones mourned a Marine from Brooklyn, who was killed by enemy fire in Iraq, at his wake Thursday.
Friends and relatives remember 30-year-old Captain John McKenna as well-mannered and smart. He graduated from Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School and attended college upstate. McKenna, who was a former Eagle Scout, spent his adult life serving his country. He worked as a New York state trooper and a soldier.
McKenna?s funeral is scheduled for Friday.
