Many Brooklyn families, especially Italian ones, are adding seafood to their Christmas celebrations with the Feast of the Seven Fishes.
The Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian-American celebration of Christmas Eve, where seafood is served as the main course.
Vinnie Cutrone, owner of the family-run Octopus Garden, normally sells his fish wholesale, but his shop is open to everyone during the holidays.
Customers say that although seven types of fish are too many to eat, even having just one is enough to keep the tradition alive.
