Family celebrates life of daughter who was fatally struck by train

The family tells News 12 they’re waiting on the MTA to provide information on the incident including video from the station.

The family of a 16-year-old girl who was struck and killed by a train in Brooklyn came together to cry, laugh and share memories together.

Neisa Cross was fatally struck by a G train at the 4th Avenue-9th Street subway station in Williamsburg on March 26.

Police say that Cross was on her way home from school in March before tripping and falling onto the tracks where she was struck by the train.

The loved ones of Neisa say that she was a light in their lives and that they can only imagine the great things she could have accomplished in her future.

According to the NYPD, no criminality was found in this incident. The family tells News 12 they’re waiting on the MTA to provide information on the incident including video from the station.
