Family and friends held a vigil for a 26-year-old woman who was found dead in Canarsie Park.
A woman walking her dog found Brandy Odom dismembered on April 9. Her arms and legs were found in plastic bags and her head and torso were found in another part of the park.
Odom's family told News 12 they have been praying for justice, but there have still been no arrests in the case.
Community advocates and police are still hoping for some kind of break in the case. At one point, police were questioning a man but they had to let him go due to lack of evidence.
The 69th Precinct Clergy Council was also out on the corner of Rockaway Parkway and Seaview Avenue asking for an end to violence.
Anyone with information on Odom's death is asked to contact police.
