Family and friends of a 25-year-old Bedford-Stuyvesant resident killed nearly three months ago are rallying against violence.
Rocky Larose lived on the second floor of 148 Lefferts Place, where he was fatally shot in July.
His mother says he returned from a street carnival to find people robbing his apartment. He was then shot by the thieves and died at Kings County Hospital from his injuries.
"When is this going to stop?" his mother says. "Unless we rally together as a community to make the community better."
Rocky's mother told News 12 Brooklyn that she's building a support group for other families who have also lost loved ones to gun violence.
