A 21-year-old man is facing murder and burglary charges Saturday in connection with the December 2 shooting death of a 52-year-old man.
Police say Travis Tremell, of Bushwick, shot and killed Earl Williams during a home invasion at 1-31 Decatur Street. Police say Williams was called to the home in what was believed to be a call for help. Police believe the woman caller is one of the five victims stripped naked and robbed at gunpoint. Williams' friend Patrick Owsley says he hopes Tremell is not the only person to face murder charges in the case.
Tremell is charged with second-degree murder, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon.
