The family of a man who was killed by a police car last month met with officials at One Police Plaza Wednesday afternoon.
Delroy Morris, 37, was riding his motorcycle on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg when he was hit and killed by the cruiser, which was driving to a call.
His family, along with the Rev. Kevin McCall, met with NYPD Chief of Community Affairs Jeffrey Maddrey to discuss the fatal crash, how it could've been prevented and how justice can be served.
The family says they voiced their desire to see the officer behind the wheel fired and facing murder charges. They say the officers involved showed a disregard for human life when they sped through the intersection during a red light.
Police say the car was flashing its emergency lights.
The incident prompted a meeting with Attorney General Letitia James last week regarding an investigation. The family says Morris leaves three children behind.
