Relatives of a woman found dead inside the bathroom of a homeless shelter on Tillary Street want to know what happened.
Linda Hoover, 53, died last week. Her family says information about why is as scarce now as it was then.
Relatives say her roommates told them she'd been in the bathroom for hours before anyone found her.
The city Department of Homeless Services called the death "a heartbreaking loss."
"We offer our deepest condolences to her family and friends and will provide them with any and all support that we can during this difficult time," a spokesperson said.
But Hoover's family wants to more details about her death and why it took so long to find her.
"We don't know what happened to my mom," says Nia Hoover. "We need these answers."
City officials say they cannot discuss the details -- but they are confirming that her death appears to have been of natural causes and not foul play.
The medical examiner will make an official determination on what killed her. Her funeral is on Saturday.
