The search is on for a local man who has been missing for a month.
Irvin Wright Sr. was last seen on Ocean Avenue in Flatbush last month. He was in front of a relative's home trying to hail a cab.
His son, Irvin Wright Jr., says he is trying to remain optimistic, but says it's getting harder every day.
"The problem is I don't know where he's at or what condition he's in or what mental state he's in at this point," he said.
Wright says that his 67-year-old father suffers from schizophrenia and could be wandering anywhere in the city, but the focus is on Brooklyn and Queens.
He is handing out fliers to passersby, hoping that someone will recognize his dad.
Irvin Wright Sr. is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and matching pants with tan boots.
Anyone with information on Wright Sr. is asked to call the NYPD's missing person squad at 212-694-7781.
