Tickets to this game have been sold out for months. And some tickets are on the resale market for over $1,000.
Jeff Dosmond, a Messi fan, told News 12 he is willing to pay whatever to see him.
“To experience it in person is even better because when you experience it on TV, it seems a bit unreal but in person, you can see the magic happening and it’s worth it," said Dosmond.
Yankee Stadium is expected to be filled with soccer fans on Saturday.
The last time New York City FC played at Yankee Stadium, the attendance was just more than 16,000.
Inter-Miami is set to go up against New York City FC at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Yankee Stadium.
