309ds agoA Stony Point family is displaced after authorities say a fast-moving fire ripped through their home Saturday night.
Authorities say the blaze at 14 River Road started just after 11 p.m.
Fire officials say the family consisting of a husband, wife and their 13-month-old child was able to get out safely.
The home sustained damage from heavy smoke, fire and water.
Investigators say a preliminary look revealed that the fire started in the porch of the house.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
