Fathers and students took part in Dads Take Your Child to School Day in Canarsie.
Despite some raindrops during school dropoff, this morning, the inclement weather did not preclude fathers from walking their children to school at P.S. 272.
Many fathers told News 12 that they wanted to show their children that no matter what, they will always be there for them, today and every day.
The event included breakfast and allowed many fathers to speak with each other about parenting.
