Parents are raising concerns this flu season as many common kids’ antibiotics are in short supply.
The Food and Drug Administration says there’s currently no visible end to this shortage and that amoxicillin has been the most affected.
Some pharmacies may be running out of their supply entirely, and it could potentially limit how much one can get with a prescription.
Prior to the shortage, amoxicillin was the most available and prescribed antibiotic in the United States.
