The FDNY took out a fire that tore through a Borough Park building on Thursday afternoon.
According to fire officials, the fire began just before 2:30 p.m. Over 100 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the fire at the three-story building.
One civilian suffered an injury but is expected to be OK. Sources at the scene say that there was roof work being done at the building and that a roofer was the one who got injured.
Red Cross representatives were spotted at the scene helping out families who were impacted by the fire. Fire officials say that two to three families resided in the building.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire at this time.
