The FDNY says 12 people were hospitalized after a multivehicle crash on Ocean Parkway and Avenue V on Monday afternoon.

Details how the crash unfolded were not immediately clear.

City data shows as of August, there have been at least two reported injuries at the intersection, and just one block down, six injuries were reported so far this year.

The FDNY says all of the people who were injured are expected to recover.
