Fire officials say two people were injured following an early morning building fire in Brighton Beach.

Firefighters responded to Brighton 12th Street at around 4 a.m. The FDNY confirms it took about an hour and 20 minutes to put the fire out.

Two people were taken to the hospital, but their condition is unclear at this time.

No word on the cause of the fire.
