FDNY: 3 hospitalized in Williamsburg apartment fire; lithium-ion battery found

According to the fire department, it all started just before 1 p.m. on the fourth floor of an eight-story apartment building.

A fire ripped through someone's home in Williamsburg on Sunday, according to the FDNY. 
According to the fire department, it all started just before 1 p.m. on the fourth floor of an eight-story apartment building. Nearby residents tell News 12 that they smelled smoke from the scene. 
Fire officials say that a lithium-ion battery was found at the scene. Three people were taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital and are all expected to be OK. 
The FDNY says that they have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
