Officials say three people, including a firefighter, were injured in a fire at a three-story apartment building in Brooklyn.

Officials say three people, including a firefighter, were injured in a fire at a three-story apartment building in Brooklyn.

According to the FDNY, firefighters responded to the building on Knickerbocker Avenue at around 4 a.m. They say the fire tore through the first floor and completely destroyed a store front below.

Everyone injured suffered non-life threatening injuries. The Red Cross is assisting families who have been displaced.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
