A fire on the third floor of a Morris Heights apartment building sent tenants scrambling for the exits.
Officials say four people were injured Tuesday. One person had serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to the FDNY.
News 12 spoke with tenants who recounted anxious moments as they saw smoke billowing from the building from other floors.
The Red Cross tells News 12 it provided help to 10 families overnight, giving two of them emergency shelter.
