FDNY: 5 firefighters injured in 4-alarm facility fire in Brooklyn

The fire took nearly 200 firefighters and close to six hours to get under control at 304 Hewes St.

A four-alarm fire at a lumbar storage facility Tuesday in Williamsburg left some firefighters injured and took hours to tackle, according to the FDNY.
The fire took nearly 200 firefighters and close to six hours to get under control at 304 Hewes St.
According to firefighters, the lumbar storage facility caught fire and then flames spread to a three-story building next door.
A total of five firefighters were injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
