FDNY: 5 hurt in Brighton Beach apartment building fire

Fire officials say five people were hurt following a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in Brighton Beach Tuesday night.

Fire officials say five people were hurt following a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in Brighton Beach Tuesday night.
Firefighters responded to the scene at 3033 Brighton 13 St. shortly after 9 p.m.
A total of 25 units and 106 fire and EMS members were on scene to put out the blaze that erupted on the third floor.
News 12 has been told that crews were able to contain the fire.
Officials say the victims were treated at the scene and taken to the hospital.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
