Six firefighters and one civilian were injured at a massive fire that broke out in Bushwick on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the FDNY, the fire reached five-alarm status and the bulk of firefighting operations are taking place along Bushwick Avenue. No injuries have been reported at this time.
According to the NYPD, the call for the fire came in just after 6 p.m. at a commercial establishment at 1385 Bushwick Ave. They say the fire spread next door to a three-story residential building.

The Red Cross says that their Greater New York Disaster Action Team is currently on scene and connecting with residents impacted by this fire.
