FDNY: 14 injured, including 11 firefighters, in 5-alarm fire on Union Avenue in Brooklyn

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a five-alarm fire in Williamsburg in which more 10 people have been injured.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a five-alarm fire in Williamsburg in which more 10 people have been injured.
The FDNY says the call came in at 5:41 a.m. for a fire at a 3-story building on 484 Union Avenue. The fire traveled to multiple levels including to the deli on the bottom.
Fire officials say 14 people were injured including 11 firefighters. Seven of those firefighters were taken to nearby hospitals.
The other three are people who were inside one of the buildings when the fire broke out.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced tenants.
No word on the cause of the fire at this time.
