FDNY adds 43 names to memorial honoring fallen 9/11 responders

The FDNY added 43 names to the World Trade Center Memorial Wall Wednesday, the second largest group of names to be added since the creation of the wall in 2011.

The FDNY added 43 names to the World Trade Center Memorial Wall Wednesday, the second largest group of names to be added since the creation of the wall in 2011. 
Dozens of people joined FDNY service members to pay tribute to those who responded on 9/11 and the days, weeks and months that followed the attack that killed thousands of New Yorkers. 
There are currently a total of 331 member names on the wall, according to the FDNY. 
Many commemorations are expected throughout the city with the 22nd anniversary of the attacks only five days away.
