FDNY: Fire at Wakefield home leaves 1 firefighter, 2 people with minor injuries

The FDNY says the fire broke out at around 2 p.m. on the second floor of a two-story home at 4015 Lowerre Place.

Two people and a firefighter sustained minor injuries following a fire Thursday in Wakefield.
The FDNY says the fire broke out at around 2 p.m. on the second floor of a two-story home at 4015 Lowerre Place.
One firefighter also refused medical attention, according to the FDNY.
Fire marshals say they are still investigating the cause of the fire.
