FDNY: Fire destroys C-Town Supermarket in Morris Heights; 4 injured

Firefighters tackled a five-alarm blaze in the Morris Heights neighborhood Thursday night.
Officials say the flames erupted right after 5 p.m. prompting a total of 50 units and nearly 200 firefighters.
The fire spread quickly between the ceiling and roof of the building, forcing firefighters to evacuate. The supermarket had a large stock of flammable items. Fire officials say the building has been completely demolished.
A total of four people were injured with three being firefighters.
The FDNY nd Department of Buildings are still looking into what started the flames, but they know it sparked in the back of the store and quickly spread inside and outside.
