A fire broke out Wednesday morning at the Erie Basin NYPD auto pound in Red Hook, according to officials.

Crews responded to reports of an e-bike fire around 10 a.m. First responders say an EMT sustained minor injuries.

Police say the fire does not appear suspicious. They will assess the damage once the FDNY investigation is completed.

Fire crews responded to the same auto pound in November after 10 cars caught fire.

Two years earlier, officials say a fire destroyed biological evidence from the NYPD that dated back decades.
