The massive fire in Red Hook that tore through an NYPD impound lot Tuesday morning is finally under control, officials say.
Although the FDNY says it is still handling flare ups and hot spots, the fire was put out at around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The building is where police say they kept biological evidence, e-bikes and several vehicles from cases dating back decades.
The FDNY reported eight people, including three firefighters, had minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
