Firefighters responded to a building fire that ripped through a bakery in Midwood late Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to a building fire that ripped through a bakery in Midwood late Wednesday.
Several people in the neighborhood told News 12 the fire started around 11 p.m. inside Isaac's Bakery on Avenue J. One of the neighbors who knows the owners believes the fire started in an oven inside the bakery.
The fire reignited again around 3:20 a.m.
Neighbors say the owner was inside when the fire started but was not hurt.
It's unclear what the extent of the damage is.
