Thanks to some of New York's Bravest, a 2-year-old pit bull mix was saved from the Harlem River Tuesday.
Officials say the dog was thrown into the Harlem River and was in distress when responders were notified.
The city's animal care center tells News 12 the dog had a few cuts and bruises but is doing well.
The FDNY is now looking to adopt the dog, who the shelter named Aquaman.
