FDNY officials say two tractor-trailers collided Wednesday morning.
They say the incident happened on Atlantic Avenue near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
One of the trailers overturned, while the other hit the overhead roadway sign, which fell into the roadway. Several vehicles were hit by the debris from the sign.
Three people suffered minor injuries and were transported to Lutheran Medical Center.
