Members of the Culture Fieldston School girl?s lacrosse team recently took on Rye Country Day School in the hopes of winning their very first state title. The Rye Country Wildcats were on a mission. At one point, they led the Fieldston Eagles 10-2 during the New York State Association of Independent Schools championship game. The Eagles made a surge late in the game with three goals, but that wasn?t enough. The Wildcats went on to capture the title with an 11-5 victory.
