Brooklyn's William Grady High School is set to close at the end of this school year, but students, parents and teachers say they aren't going down without a fight.
A rally was held yesterday over Department of Education (DOE) plans to shutter the Brighton Beach trade school and reopen it in July under a new name.
Parents argue that students have improved the overall school grade to a "B" this year, but DOE officials say that replacing the school with a new one will improve education quality in the building.
