A Brooklyn-based writer is demonstrating the lack of diversity in the entertainment industry with a short film.
Becca Beberaggi wrote, produced, directed and even starred in her new comedy, " Two Ushers Walk Into A Play."
The 10-minute short film is about two LatinX theater ushers who are working the door of an Off-Broadway play.
In the film, an old classmate wins the lead role in a play and the main character decides to take over the lead by taking matters into her own hands.
Beberaggi says she is now working on her next short film.
