Fire displaces Bushwick building tenants

Some tenants in Bushwick were forced out into the cold after a fire damaged an apartment building Saturday morning.
Firefighters say the flames started in the rear of the building on Locust Street around 7:45 a.m.
Everyone in the building was able to get out safely. One resident had minor injuries but declined medical attention.
The Red Cross is currently assisting the building's tenants.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
Officials say there were no issues with frozen hydrants despite the cold weather.
